To continuously expand the landscape of industry-university-research (I-U-R) cooperation, explore future directions for joint R&D in the field of industrial robots, and promote the commercialization of innovative achievements, a four-member delegation led by Guo Jinjie, President of our institute, visited the Hebei Center of the National Innovation Center for Technology Transfer in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Region for an exchange and study tour on August 4. The delegation also included Yan Feng, Vice President; Lü Qinglei, Director of the General Management Department; and Zhang Yanwei, Director of the Office.
Zhou Yingsen, Chairman of Hebei Guochuang Jing-Jin-Ji Technology Development Co., Ltd., warmly welcomed our delegation. The group first visited the robot exhibition hall on the first floor of the Innovation Harbor, where they observed various intelligent equipment exhibits up close and gained an intuitive understanding of the industrialized application achievements of cutting-edge robotics technologies. Subsequently, the delegation visited key R&D platforms, including the Optical Fiber Sensing Laboratory and the Embodied Intelligence R&D Center. They inspected the research facilities and ongoing projects on-site, and carefully listened to briefings on relevant technical routes, innovation outcomes, and industrial application scenarios. Both sides also conducted on-site exchanges focusing on intelligent equipment, sensing technologies, and robot system development.
Following the tour, both parties held an exchange symposium at the conference room on the 14th floor of the Innovation Harbor.
During the meeting, both sides introduced their respective attendees and presented their institutional development layouts, R&D systems, and key areas of technological breakthroughs. Our institute stated that the two sides have previously jointly carried out industrial robot R&D projects, establishing a solid foundation of trust for cooperation. It is hoped that after the completion of the current projects, both parties will continue to explore synergistic cooperation points, seek new models for long-term joint R&D, and promote collaborative technological breakthroughs.
Key executives, including Zhou Yingsen (Chairman of Hebei Guochuang Jing-Jin-Ji Technology Development Co., Ltd.), Jia Yingxin (Deputy Director of the Mechatronics Pilot Base), Sun Ruixuan (Deputy Director of the Automation Research Institute), Zhao Dongzhe (Director of the General Department of Guochuang Jing-Jin-Ji Technology Development Co., Ltd.), and Qin Xupeng (Deputy General Manager of R&D at Guochuang Embodied Intelligence Technology Co., Ltd.), delivered presentations. They outlined their respective R&D strengths, technological reserves, and project implementation capabilities. Centered around business areas such as optical fiber sensing, robot R&D, project implementation, and achievement commercialization, both sides held in-depth discussions on deepening collaborative innovation. All parties expressed strong optimism for future cooperation, exchanged perspectives on potential areas like extended industrial robot R&D and joint tech breakthroughs in smart equipment, and explored pathways for long-term collaboration mechanisms. Building on the existing foundation, they aim to initiate new joint R&D projects and jointly drive the industrial application of research outcomes.
This visit further solidified the foundation for bilateral cooperation. Moving forward, our institute will actively follow up on the outcomes of this exchange, leverage our strong partnership, and advance subsequent joint R&D negotiations. By pinpointing the synergy between technological innovation and industrial development, we will empower the high-quality development of the high-end equipment industry through deep industry-university-research integration.
