On October 15th, a 4-member delegation led by Professor Tang Wenxian (Professor of Beijing City University and former Director of CCID Research Institute) and Professor Liu Zhigao (Senior Expert of the Chinese Academy of Sciences) visited our institute, where a special exchange was held focusing on the "14th Five-Year Plan" and the integrated development of the bearing industry with emerging fields. Guo Jinjie, President of our institute, led his team in warmly receiving the delegation. Liu Gang, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and Director of Linxi County Development and Reform Bureau, accompanied the visit throughout. The three parties (government, enterprises, and our institute) centered on practical needs and conducted in-depth discussions on new directions for industrial development.

Focus of the Discussion: Professor Tang Poses Questions to Guide the Direction; Director Guo Anchors the Core of Low-Altitude Economy
At the symposium, President Guo first extended a warm welcome to the expert team for their visit. He then briefly introduced the latest progress and important achievements made by our institute in the field of bearing research and development. Subsequently, combining his industry insights, Professor Tang Wenxian focused the exchange on the key issue of linking enterprise practices with planning, and directly asked President Guo, "In the current process of advancing the 14th Five-Year Plan, what do you think is the most promising highlight for your institute based on its own industrial advantages?"
In response to this question, President Guo, integrating our institute’s development strategy with industry trends, clearly put forward the development idea of "taking the low-altitude economy as the core focus". He stated that as policies related to the low-altitude economy are gradually liberalized, fields such as unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and low-altitude logistics are experiencing explosive growth. As a core component of such equipment, micro-bearings are seeing simultaneous increases in both market demand and technical requirements. Our institute is stepping up technological research on precision optimization and service life improvement of micro-bearings to meet the supporting needs of the low-altitude economy, striving to become a reliable supplier of core components for low-altitude equipment.
Liu Gang, Director of Linxi County Development and Reform Bureau, stated that the bureau will support our institute in connecting with resources related to the low-altitude economy in line with local industrial planning. The entire discussion centered on "Low-Altitude Economy + Bearing Innovation," featuring practical and highly targeted exchanges.
Workshop Exploration: Highlights Showcased in the Micro-Bearing Workshop, with UAV Bearings Gaining Experts' Attention
After the discussion, accompanied by President Guo, the expert team visited our institute's trial-manufacturing workshop, micro-bearing workshop, and R&D achievements exhibition hall in sequence. Among them, the micro-bearing workshop became the focus of exchanges—it showcased the latest R&D of micro-bearings specially designed for UAVs. Developed to meet the needs of UAVs' high-speed operation and complex working conditions, the product has undergone special optimization in material selection and structural design. Currently, it has completed prototype testing and possesses the capacity for small-batch supply.

Professor Tang Wenxian carefully inspected the samples and testing data of the UAV bearings, and inquired in detail about the product's technical parameters, compatible models, and progress in market connection. He affirmed our institute's approach of conducting targeted R&D in line with the needs of the low-altitude economy, stating that "only by accurately identifying the needs of specific segments can bearing products be more competitive in the market."
At the conclusion of the exchange, Professor Tang Wenxian and his delegation of four expressed sincere gratitude to Director Guo for his detailed sharing, highly praising our institute's significant advantage in the field of miniature bearings with its 'precisely targeted R&D direction and solid practical foundation.' They also encouraged our institute to continue deepening integration with the low-altitude economy industry, enhancing product added value through continuous technological innovation, and further expanding market share in niche segments. Director Guo responded that the institute will continue to focus on the miniature bearing field and contribute to the upgrading of local industries and the development of emerging sectors!
