On the afternoon of April 20, Hua Shibo, a member of the Party Leadership Group and Vice Chairman of the Hebei Provincial Association for Science and Technology, led a seven-member delegation to visit and conduct research at our institute. The delegation included Zhou Yingsen, Director of the Industrial Development Department of the Provincial Academy of Sciences, Executive Deputy Director of the Hebei Center of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei National Innovation Center, and Chairman of Hebei Provincial Guochuang Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Technology Development Co., Ltd., as well as Guo Yusheng, Third-Level Researcher of the Xingtai Municipal Association for Science and Technology.
Shang Geng, Deputy Secretary of the Linxi County Committee of the CPC, accompanied the delegation throughout the visit. He was joined by Si Jingsheng, Party Secretary and Chairman of the County Association for Science and Technology. Guo Jinjie, President of our institute, warmly welcomed the guests, while Assistant President Lü Qinglei and heads of relevant departments were present throughout the visit.
During the visit, Vice Chairman Hua and his delegation, accompanied by President Guo, toured the reception hall, the R&D achievement exhibition hall, and the R&D pilot workshop. Through on-site inspections, briefings, and interactive discussions, the delegation gained a comprehensive and detailed understanding of our institute's achievements in technology R&D, platform construction, and the commercialization of research outcomes.
In the reception hall, Assistant President Lü delivered a detailed presentation covering our institute's development positioning, core team, R&D focus, platform construction, and various honors we have received.
He highlighted our institute's journey of deep commitment to the high-end bearing sector since its establishment. He also shared key achievements in technological innovation, industry-academia-research collaboration, and talent development. Furthermore, he showcased our certificates of honor, patents, and industry recognitions one by one. Through this presentation, the research delegation gained a preliminary yet comprehensive understanding of our institute's overall strength.
Afterwards, the delegation proceeded to the R&D Achievement Exhibition Hall to take a close look at our institute's core R&D products. Inside the hall, a series of high-end bearing products were neatly displayed, covering a wide range of application areas. These included intelligent textile machinery bearings, grain and oil machinery bearings, precision machine tool spindle bearings, and silent elevator bearings.
President Guo Jinjie provided a detailed introduction to the R&D background, technical advantages, performance characteristics, and market applications of these products. He placed special emphasis on the robot bearings developed through a joint project undertaken with Hebei Provincial Guochuang Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Technology Development Co., Ltd., highlighting the project's significant role in breaking through core technologies and promoting the localization of high-end bearings.
The delegation members examined the product details carefully, frequently pausing to inquire about technical parameters, R&D challenges, and market prospects. They spoke highly of our institute's technical strength and ability to commercialize R&D outcomes in the field of high-end bearings.
Finally, the delegation visited the R&D pilot workshop to observe the entire product trial production process on-site. Inside the workshop, researchers were systematically carrying out tasks such as product design, component machining, and assembly and debugging, with various professional equipment running efficiently. President Guo provided a detailed introduction to the workshop's hardware configuration, R&D process, quality control system, and research team building. He emphasized that during the trial production process, our institute strictly controls every step, striving to create high-standard, high-precision R&D prototypes to facilitate breakthroughs in core technologies and the commercialization of R&D outcomes.
The delegation observed the researchers' operating procedures up close and gained a detailed understanding of the technical key points and challenges in the trial production process. They expressed their recognition of our institute's rigorous R&D attitude, comprehensive management system, and solid scientific research foundation.
Following the tour, Vice Chairman Hua Shibo fully affirmed our institute's technological innovation efforts and R&D achievements. He expressed hope that, under the coordination and leadership of Deputy Secretary Shang Geng, a platform for in-depth communication could be further established between President Guo and the Provincial Association for Science and Technology to jointly promote technological innovation and industrial development.
President Guo thanked the leaders for their visit and stated that our institute will continue to focus on the R&D of high-end bearings, deepen practical cooperation with all parties, continuously enhance its level of technological innovation, and contribute its scientific research capabilities to the high-quality development of both the local area and the industry.
